Learn how to nourish the heart with a plant spirit medicine approach. The health of the circulatory system can be supported with diet and heart-healthy herbs, including tonic herbs for daily use such as garlic, ginger, and witch hazel. Learn plant spirit medicine for heart health, energetic protection, and joy using rose, echinacea, and hawthorn. Make your own refreshing heart spray.

Herbal vinegars in food and as a supplement have benefits too. We will discuss a variety of herbs including oregano for the immune system, dandelion for seasonal allergies, mint for digestion, and many more to stay well and increase vitality. There will be a selection of herbs in class to make your own herbal vinegar.

Long summer days can mean less sleep. Calming herbal allies such as lavender, chamomile, and linden can be soothing and help one ease into sleep. You will learn how to make herbal tinctures with your choice of herbs in class.

We will learn how to combine soothing honey with the healing properties of summer flowers like rose, linden, and elderflower to make doubly potent summer medicine, as well as discovering how to use honey for healing in food and skin care. Make your own summer flower honey.

Note: A $25 fee is to be paid to the instructor for materials needed to make a refreshing heart spray, an herbal vinegar, an herbal tincture, and a flower honey.
